This track’s been floating around the blogs for nearly two weeks, and I figured it was about time that I showed it a little love.
I haven’t been into much of the new hip-hop that’s been surfacing lately, but then I heard this Gilbere Forte track. It stood out immediately. Gilbere Forte’s been on his grind for a while, so it’s nice to see “PRAY” racking up listens on SoundCloud.
Big ups to Raak as well for crafting one hell of beat in the song. I would love to see Pusha T jump in on a remix of this. For now I am more than happy to enjoy the original. Gilbere Forte is a very entertaining MC. His flow on “PRAY” is commendable. So is the official video.
Hopefully this is the first of many Gilbere Forte and Raak collaborations to come. So far so dope.
