Sounds like: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Pixies, Modest Mouse, Wolf Parade
Although Minneapolis rock band Tapes N' Tapes seem to be on a little of a hiatus, members Josh Grier and Jeremy Hanson are keeping things going with their side project Gingko. Today, the two offer their new track, "Ride It Out," which will be appearing on their debut full-length album, Manopause. The track doesn't depart too far from Tapes N' Tapes loud raucous sound that highlights their love for the Pixies. The vocals are coarse, the guitars are loud, and the drums hit hard. So, if you were a fan of Tapes N' Tapes' rock aesthetics, you'll totally dig Gingko.
