In late 2011 and throughout 2012, us Shufflers sang praise to Claire Boucher and her experimental third studio album Visions. We’ve featured several Grimes tracks, some remixes, and some covers, but somehow we missed the boat on this rad Ryan Hemsworth remix showcasing North Carolina rapper Deniro Farrar.
Farrar’s drudged-up flow mixes use of personal hot-to-cold feelings toward women and bad breakups, interlaced with Hemsworth’s epic chopped and screwed beat throwdown. His highly eclectic range of remixes further acknowledges that he can produce a diverse repertoire that is audibly engaging and worth spreading to the masses.
