Having formed in early 2011, Harting is comprised of four male youngsters with ages ranging from 16-17, believe it or not. Based out of Brighton, UK, this fresh up-and-coming group has not yet been signed, yet has managed to be quite the talk of the town all over the Southeast, playing extensively around London and Brighton.
“Innocence” is off of their debut two-track demo that was released in mid 2012, which was filled with “intricate melodies and up-tempo beats with a dark-beach style twist.” Fletcher, Sam L, Luke and Sam M have formed quite the sound thus far on their own, appealing to the vast majority of indie rock/alternative fans across continents.
If you’re into the likes of Born Ruffians, Wu Lyf and Bombay Bicycle Club, I’d bet good money that Harting is right up your alley.
