Hodgy Beats is probably best known as the hip-hop/whatever collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. Yesterday, he released this track via Twitter (free download!), and while overshadowed by the fervor of Frank Ocean’s latest release, I thought I’d give it a little love.
What I like about “Fordab*tches” and most of his other work I’ve heard is that the backing instrumentals are impeccably produced and thoroughly non-offensive. Where Tyler, The Creator can get downright dirty, Hodgy Beats keeps things smooth as hell.
