NYC's Holy Ghost is an unstoppable force. Whatever they tap into to produce such infectious dance songs is hopefully an endless supply because their music is something I never want to end. This featured track, "I Wanted To Tell Her," is a Ministry cover previously released in 1983. Who else could pull it off besides Holy Ghost (and Nancy and Juan)?

This track is industrial synth pop at its finest; it's energetic and upbeat from the get go. You've got the funky guitar and bass, the simple yet pronounced beats, layer upon layer of whirling synths, and of course a hand clap!

The vocals? They're basically Debbie Harry reincarnated, and who doesn't love that? The song as a whole is relatively simple, but the way that these guys have compiled each instrument makes for an intriguingly layered disco synth pop ballad. What was once a classic is now a new kind of classic.

So I've come to the conclusion that whatever Holy Ghost touches turns to gold. To top it off, their music is always a guaranteed good time. You'll probably have the urge to put this track on repeat, and who could blame you? This is the type of song that the DJ puts on and basically everyone is dancing. Keep your eyes peeled for Holy Ghost tour dates; they're currently touring across North America and I'm thinking it's a show you'll want to experience at least once!
