Unless you speak Welsh, "Celwydd" is going to be a pretty hard title to commit to memory, so you'll have to make an extra effort for this one. Come March, you'll have thanked yourself for being so prudent.Y Record Las is a compilation released via Recordiau Lliwgar (translated as Colorful Records) and is the first in a series of similar nature. The entire record consists of a variety of brand new songs by some of Wale's leading artists. "Celwydd" (translated "Lie") is a mellow dive into future garage. It moves slow, but its presence is large, like a majestic lumbering spirit on a peaceful ascent to the stars (see Princess Mononoke).It's a mystery what the rest of the album will sound like, but "Celwydd" is a great first look.
