As we are nearing the end of the year, bloggers everywhere are frantically compiling all of their musical fixations from the year, judging and thinking about their best ofs. Very soon, the interwebs will be inundated with said lists, opinions afloat as far as the eye (or mouse) can see.
With this in mind, let us take a pause together to look at where the musical world was ten years ago, in 2002. Everything learned in school tells us that remembering our history is one of the most important things in life, and this idea is easily applied to the music world.
