What's so good?

Max Greenhalgh of Inspired & The Sleep has just released his new album, Teenager, and it is truly a fun listen. I’m especially enjoying the single, “Spar Helm.”

If you’re familiar with Inspired & The Sleep, then you’ll know that their style is eclectic, zany and intelligent. It’s usually upbeat, light-hearted and easy to get down to. “Spar Helm,” on the other hand, is a leap in the opposite direction. While some bands have their specific style, tempo and approach, it’s always nice when you come across a band that mixes it up from one spectrum to the next. “Spar Helm” is the perfect example of a high-energy band taking it down a few notches and still producing a lovely, tasteful song.

I’ve always appreciated Inspired & The Sleep’s drive and ambition, and I think you should at least give Max’s album a listen. This DIY guy has loads of talent that shouldn’t go unnoticed.
