What's so good?

There is nothing better than a brilliant house remix. UK resident Dauwd, from their local label Pictures Music, has just caressed his electro hands all over Jack Dixon's track "Lose Myself" and created a finely tuned masterpiece. Dixon is an experimental house/electro producer from London, so it's fair to estimate that these two probably have shaken hands a time or two before.

Dauwd is known for his spaced-out UK garage tracks, a characteristic that is not lost on this remix. Sexy and dark, "Lose Myself" is balls-deep in some buttery house goodness. Although there is a slightly sinister vibe to Dauwd's production, also present is a very determined facet throughout the 5+ minutes. It's like floating through a landscape of hazy clouds, just with some damn fine bass.

The original track is due to be released on April 30 via Skint on Dixon's EP Above From The Below, so be sure to watch out for that. In the interim, you can satiate your musical thirst with a sampling of Dixon's tracks. Me, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be bangin.
