Kutmah specializes in the ethereal and other-worldy. Whether through his mixes, edits, live performances or original compositions, Kootz always manages to pull you into a world that is a bit uncomfortable, definitely new, and always interesting.
When Zeroh and Brainfeeder’s Jeremiah Jae decided to smash over a Kutmah interlude beat for “BlackMyth,” the rhyming duo was able to tap into that same energy to create an abstract rap collage that complimented and elevated what Kutmah had set forth.
Though I’m plenty familiar with Zeroh and his wonderfully odd ways, I’ve yet to fully do the knowledge on Jae, something I’m not proud of. On this joint, the two sound like they were made to rap with each other.
