On the back of one of the first decent remixes of The xx in quite a while, more of American producer Beat Culture’s music came to our attention, namely this remix he did of James Blake.
The melancholic Blake original is flipped into something else entirely, with the vocals cut up and the introduction of a 2-step indebted hook, creating a mangled track that sounds closer to house than the broken dubstep of the original.
