One of the best parts of my SoundCloud feed is getting amazing mixtapes from Parisian producer Zimmer. Always lush and gold plated, they more than give The Magician’s monthly tapes a run for their money.
The latest mixtape from the French artist features a truly amazing remix of Jean Winner’s “Alive and Kicking,” with supple synths and innocuous sounding vocals. This track is more on the placid side than many other Zimmer productions, but it’s still a piece of art.
