I've recently found myself listening to jj's album Kills when I'm in a bad mood and need to lighten up. I think it has something to do with the way Elin Kastlander manages to sound powerful and badass no matter what she sings. Anyway, I was really excited to see them do a collaboration with NE-YO, mostly because I'm really into the whole electro pop/R&B marriage. As part of Adult Swim's Single's Program, they just released "We Can't Stop" -- and it's free!The first two minutes of the song are mostly focused on Elin's vocals, and at 2:55 it gets broken down and builds back up again, in the most chill, minimalist version of R&B possible.
