Dylan Sanders in an Aussie that is finally making his stretch across the sea. Known through South Australia, the self-proclaimed “Adelaide Party Starter” holds multiple residencies while still managing his schedule full of appearances.

This summer, he’s plotted himself in the states and can currently be found in New York City working on his second of the Drag and Drop Mixtapes. Which, if it’s any hint to the accolades of the original, will have men, women, children, house pets and feral animals alike groveling for more.

His remix of Jurassic 5′s “What’s Golden” is a blatent display of his skills. Anyone with enough hand-eye coordination can stand behind a mixer and play cool songs with a foghorn here and a few scratches there. But when you start deforming the structure, lapsing the tempo, and highlighting beauties that otherwise went lost in an original song, you separate yourself from the amateurs.

Dylan showcases his confidence by deconstructing this song to an unidentifiable degree, and then serving it back full force. Jurassic 5 is probably wondering why they didnt think of this for their original track. If they did, they’d probably be the ones lounging in Manhattan while hundreds of people downloaded their hour long mixtapes.

Feel free to follow him on his Twitter, Facebook, and Soundcloud and YouTube. His Facebook forewarns you, admonishing, “Following him on all 4 [channels] will result in mild brain damage and prolonged exposure may require a lobotomy or a good dose of painkillers… But hey, if you do follow him on all 4, he’ll probably buy you drink when he sees you.”

What do you think?
