Kanye West vs. Washed Out

I rolled my eyes a bit when I received this in my inbox this morning, but it seems Carlos Serrano is going to get the last laugh. That's because this is actually quite a good mashup.Why? Frankly, because Washed Out's gentle "Far Away" sets a haunting stage for this track, which features Kanye's all-too-familiar "Diamonds of Sierra Leone." The end result carries far more emotion than similar tracks I've heard in the past (owing no doubt to the cello featured on "Far Away").On that note, I should point out that this isn't the first mashup to feature tracks from Washed Out's successful Within and Without.
