Jacques Greene’s productions are always winners in my book, and true to form, his remixes never fall short. There’s something about taking a powerful female artist and throwing it atop a UK garage beat that just tugs at my heart strings. I’m always keen to hear combinations like Jessie Ware remixed by Disclosure, or in this case Katy B remixed by Jacques Greene.
A track from last year, Jacques Greene’s take on Katy B’s love ballad is everything you’d expect from the artist – introspective UK garage beats with carefully placed vocals to add the icing on the remix cake. I’m definitely listening to this like, well, a broken record.
