Todd Huguenor must be a busy dude. He does lead vocals and plays guitar for Rio Rio, an emerging San Francisco-based band. I was also just listening to some of his solo acoustic work, which was also impressive. And then there is Brave Fox, Todd’s outlet for producing electronic dance music.
Sampling Grammy-winning blues maestro Keb Mo, “Am I Wrong” brings the twang, the synths, in short, the party. This track has soul for days. It had me hooked within the first minute. With only about 1,500 listens combined on his Beatport and SoundCloud, Brave Fox has not yet reached the same level of stardom of some of his EDM contemporaries. Let’s see if together we can’t change that.
