What's so good?

I found this awesome jazz number in a mix Jamie xx did for Radio 1 a few months back. It’s by Keith Mansfield, probably best known for composing the BBC’s theme music for the Wimbledon tennis championships.

Aside from this, Mansfield’s work is known for its wide use in sampling. Fatboy Slim, Memphis Bleek, and today’s bonus Danger Mouse are all guilty parties. I can pretty much guarantee you will have heard one of Mansfield’s songs somewhere, you probably just don’t realize it.

Well, it’s time to share Keith Mansfield’s work with the world. Be sure to check out a contemporary version of the song with Danger Mouse’s version of “Morning Broadway” as part of the Danger Doom project, completed with MF Doom. Perfection guaranteed!
