What's so good?

One of my favorite Australian producers at the moment is Sydney’s Kilter. It’s been an exciting few months for him, having been signed to a Ministry of Sound affiliate and increasing his live presence significantly. He’s looking to put together a new EP later this year, but a new track from him, “All Night,” was recently featured in the latest No Dice Paradise Mixtape.

Again featuring rhymes from previous collaborators The Benchwarmers Clique (a South Florida duo), “All Night” is another classic Kilter track. What I enjoy most about a lot of his music is his tendency towards the hip-hop side of beat-making – a somewhat rare occurrence in the Australian electronic community.

That said, he’s not just fixed in the hip-hop genre either, with upcoming releases bound to showcase his versatility and growth as a producer. With the increase in electronic music growing over the last few years, Kilter is one act which stands out.

Also featuring tracks from local producers Oisima and Embassy, the No Dice Paradise Mixtape can be streamed here.
