Singer/songwriter Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, sure knows how to turn on and tune us in with his latest album. World, You Need A Change of Mind is his debut LP, which already came out in the UK and was recently released May 8 in the U.S. via Terrible/Casablanca.
This electro pop outfit from across the pond has dutifully graced us with another soulful dance number worthy of recognition. It comes as no surprise that Kindness is gaining high praise throughout the blogosphere. After all, he did make major waves at SXSW this year, captivating fanatical audiences with his dreamy and sincere vocals and alternative take on chillwave dance music.
“House,” a glimmering track from World, You Need A Change of Mind, exudes an illusive velvety world of full of hazed-out boogying and slowed down lush productions. It’s a song that entices you straight from the get-go. The more I listen, the less I mind that I’m having a full volume dance party by myself.
