I’m increasingly becoming a fan of meandering background tracks — the kind perfect for zoning in and getting some work done. The last thing that you want is a song that’s too distracting.
About five days ago, RCRDLBL picked up Ki:Theory’s “I Wanna Run,” a mellow track that is somewhat reminiscent of The xx. Joining Joel Burleson on the song’s vocals is Maura Davis of Denali, who lends a haunting and someone creepy aura.
