What's so good?

When New Zealand-based Ladyhawke released her self-titled first album back in 2008, she quickly saw it hit the top of the charts in her home country. She then went on to win six awards at the New Zealand Music Awards. While I'd never actually heard of the event until writing that sentence, it does seem like a notable feat.

So, perhaps owing to the fact that she's a one-girl-band, it's taken four years to prep the new material. "Black, White & Blue" is the first single to be released off the upcoming Anxiety. With guitar licks that sound a bit like classic Radiohead, it's actually a hell of an awesome song.

Anxiety will be released March 19th of 2012, and can be pre-ordered here.
