Lapalux made a name for himself pretty early, winding up with two EPs released under Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label. It was a pretty good accomplishment given that he was still in his early 20s.
Now 25, Stuart Howard is gearing up to unveil his debut full-length album Nostalchic, and “Without You” ft. Kerry Leatham is the first single we get to hear.
The song could quite easily be compared to something out of James Blakes’ camp, and certainly marks a more chilled-out approach to Lapalux’s style. More of this, and I won’t complain a drop.
