I’m really excited to introduce all you shufflers to Brooklyn’s Leapling. With the first few chords of their single, “If You’re Patient,” I was hooked, and I think you will be too.
This talented and innovative quartet is bringing the breezy side of psych rock back to the forefront. “If You’re Patient” is dressed in charm, elegance, pop sensibility and a breezy tone; the perfect recipe for a band looking to get noticed and appreciated. The sleepy guitar, bopping bass, jazzy drums and milky vocals… what’s not to love? In just over three minutes, it’s very possible that Leapling will win you over. I know they did with me.
Leapling will be releasing their Losing Face EP on January 15. I urge you to mark your calendars and get acquainted with this band. They’ve got what it takes.
