Last Friday I had the opportunity to see Reptar open up for Cults and Foster The People at The Fillmore in San Francisco. Not only did I get to see them live — I got to watch their set from the sound booth, arguably the best location for sound quality. It was also pretty sweet, because I got to see the sold-out crowd sway and jive to the show.
This was the first time I’ve seen Reptar live, and it was actually pretty rad. Their set had a ton of energy, capturing the somewhat dancey feel of their latest LP, Oblangle Fizz, Y’all.
Hailing from Georgia, Reptar will be on tour through November. Check their tour schedule here.
Special thanks to Andy Hernandez for having me hang out in the sound booth!
