Yesterday’s release of the first Phoenix single was cool and all, but I must confess that the song I listened to the most was Lone’s “AM Portal.” And I continue to listen to it over and over today.
For those of you who are fans of Tycho or Boards of Canada, I have a feeling that this may quickly become one of your favorite tracks in the last month. From the intro to the percussion drop before the 2-minute mark, it’s refreshing, engaging, and somehow still thoroughly relaxing.
No word yet on whether “AM Portal” will be included on an upcoming album, but we can only hope.
