It’s been awhile since “Bad Girls” and even longer see the Vicki Leekx Mixtape, so some impatient Twitter fans decided to get what they wanted. After lovingly harassing M.I.A via social media, she relented and sent one of them “aTENtion.”
It’s a militant take on M.I.A’s characteristic bangin’ tribal beats. It’s satiating enough for today, but we’ll see if it holds fans over until upcoming Mathangi, slated for release some time in 2013.
