Sometimes I'm astonished at the talent swirling around these here Internets. Meet Evan Duffy, a Virginia Beach-based composer who took one of my favorite tracks of the year and turned it into one of my favorite covers of the year. Say what you will about EDM, but I'll be damned if Madeon is not some sort of good vibes wizard. "The City" takes me back to my youth, when I not only knew the Pokémon theme, but sang along while looping the track on cassette.Evan has also composed piano covers of tracks by Feed Me, Dillon Francis, and Aphex Twin.
