I’m a little on the fence as to the direction that Marina & The Diamonds have gone with this latest track, “Homewrecker.” On the one hand, the spoken vocals are entrancing, witty and hot as hell. The chorus, on the other hand, just doesn’t seem to fit the bill. I mean, it’s definitely pop. I just need to get my mind around that.
“Homewrecker” will be on the upcoming album Electra Heart. We’ve already heard another song from it, “Starring Role,” but will need to wait until mid-April for the full work.
