To the best of my knowledge, the man behind Cosmonaut Grechko is named Victor Klyuchnikov, and he is only 19-years-old. He is thus part of a generation that has grown up surrounded by the digital tools that allow for incredible original and remixed productions — and I dare say that this is the best remix I have heard of Metric’s work. Strike that. Including today’s Bonus, these are the two best remixes I have heard of Metric’s work.
Though he has only a small following to-date, Victor recently released a new EP, All The Time, which is available for download on Bandcamp. There’s a cool mini-mix that should give you a taste of what he’s got up his sleeves!
