Mighty Challenger is a name to keep in mind for the months and year to come. This is a great addition to any collection, exuding experimental, artful indie rock.
“Take It” is from Mighty Challenger’s new 7″, and it’s a beautifully ethereal journey through an atmospheric psych rock universe. The wobbling synths, slithering bass, wonky guitar, and the funky drums all come together to lend a beautiful platform for Tom Glubizzi’s heavily echoing vocals. This is the type of track that stands the test of time. It could’ve been produced in any decade really, which shows the versatility of Glubizzi’s creative palette.
Be sure to add Mighty Challenger to your “Bands To Watch” list. Something like this shouldn’t be overlooked.
