MINKS

Captured Tracks is an indie label based in Brooklyn, and I've recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon some of their extremely talented artists. Last week, I posted a track by the curious artist Mac Demarco, who is signed to the savvy label. This week, I give you MINKS and their wavy, relaxing track titled "Everything's Fine."Frontman/songwriter Sonny Kilfoyle and producer/engineer Mark Verbos are a force of nature, creating some sensational melodies. They describe their upcoming project, Tides End, on their homepage as "not just a romantic trip into isolation, but a melodic and warm experience to immerse yourself in. It's a pop record, with all the hooks and harmonies you'd expect from that, delivered with experience, depth and hope." Deep stuff, and I'm diggin' it.
