UK-based Moones are a band with a unique vision and sound. Their video for their single “Better Energy” is a perfect example of that. This video is currently up for nomination in two categories at the UK Music Video Awards, which puts them up against big names like James Blake, Fleet Foxes and Gorillaz. Oh, and did I mention that Moones are unsigned? Unreal!
“Better Energy” is super catchy, super energetic and super modern. It encompasses all the elements that make for the perfect indie rock pop jam. With that said, the video for this single takes it to a whole different level. If you haven’t watched it yet, then I highly advise you do. There was a good reason it was selected as staff pick at Vimeo and shared socially by The Darkness and Coldplay. Again… did I mention that these guys are unsigned?!
Stay tuned for whatever else Moones has up their sleeves. Whatever it is, I bet it’ll be worth the wait!
