Released back in May via independently run, vinyl-only label, No Recordings, "Bloody Mouth" is one of those tracks that will hook you right from the start. This project of Atlanta-based Moons has a similarly engrossing introduction to Phoenix's "Love Like A Sunset Part 1," with escalading beats and sweeping, flickering glitz.As described by Octopus Windmill, this slick track is "blissful and lucid in all the right ways." It begins in a relaxed, minimal state up until the 1:50 mark, when the steady guitar riffs shift into a gust of musical mixtures and melodic pleas. Then, suddenly at the 2:30 mark, we are built up into an eventual sonic breakdown of sounds that blasts us into galactic arena full of rhythmic grooving.With this being No Recordings #001 release, limited to only 250 copies, and the debut piece from an artist with a ton of talent, this vinyl won't let you down.
