I’m not usually a big fan of the huge number of crazy remixes and mashups that circulate around the Googleweb–I guess my perspective is usually “If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It,” along with a healthy dose of Goddamn, this is the worst crap I’ve ever heard. However, this mashup of Mos Def’s mad lyric skills with some old school reggae tracks has got me standing up and saluting its producer, Max Tannone, the guy who brought the world a crazy Jay-Z/Radiohead (“Jaydiohead”) mashup a while back. – Get Up Stay Down
