A few days back, I woke up to the sad news of the passing of French house legend DJ Mehdi (via Twitter), who was killed in an accident at the age of 34.

I loved his work, and it seems fitting then that we pay tribute to him by sharing his best known track, “Signatune,” which when remixed by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter. It is four and a half minutes of pure house energy.

Medhi’s passing greatly saddens me because this is one of my favourite tracks. Period. Rest in Peace.
