Myndset is no stranger to Indie Shuffle. The L.A.-based producer first appeared on our radar back in 2010 with a mashup of Miike Snow and Swedish House Mafia. Fast forward to 2012, and Myndset is still doing his thing — namely dropping hot mixtapes, playing live shows all over the globe, and taking things to the next level.
On Monday, Myndset released his first official original mix. It’s a polished piece of progressive house titled “25th Hour” that features vocals from a cool cat named Jason Caesar. I had originally heard a demo of the track back in February, but listening to the finished product on some quality headphones has me feeling good. I’ve been off dance music for a while now, but that doesn’t seem to matter much when I play this song.
“25th Hour” is on Beatport and Hype Machine if you feel so inclined as to support it with your hearts and dead presidents.
