I got an email this morning from Work It Media, announcing their year-end playlist. Included are the likes of Zola Jesus, The Drums and Neon Indian, among others. For that last one — Neon Indian — they featured the song “Polish Girl,” which was released on Era Extraña a few months back.
Now, if you’re like me and enjoyed the full album release but haven’t listened to it in a while, you’ll find that one more play of “Polish Girl” gives you Neon Indian fever all over again. On the flip side — if this is your first time being introduced to Alan Palomo’s chillwave sensibility — I have a feeling you’ll find yourself quickly falling for it.
