I woke up to two brand new tracks uploaded by Deadmau5 this morning. Both of Nine Inch Nails’ “Survivalism” – one instrumental, and one full-blown. Clearly the latter is the one we need to share with you.
What’s unique about Deadmau5′s take on “Survivalism” (2007, Year Zero) is that it’s not a full-blown electronic rework. In fact, the core elements of the original still stand, making this one quite difficult to build a playlist around. It’s not like we have a lot of industrial music on Indie Shuffle…
Still, when Deadmau5 joins the show, I’ll pretty much always be there to cover it.
