What's so good?

Damn. The good music just never stops coming, does it? We're lucky to have some new Nosaj Thing and Toro y Moi for your listening pleasure today.

In September, Sean covered Nosaj's "Eclipse/Blue," rightly calling the sound "an introspective, spacey production." Since then, we've been waiting patiently for new tunes. Finally, Try appears. It's a more synth-based hip-hop track, featuring Chaz's typical ethereal vocals which pile in around 1:54. Chilled out. Kind of what taking a run down Ocean Beach on a cold morning at 4AM would sound like.

Two of our favorite producers with new material, together on one track... doesn't get anymore exciting than that! As Stereogum rightly pointed out, it's been a while since L.A. producer Nosaj Thing released his debut Drift. After four (long) years, we're stoked to sink our teeth into his follow up effort Home, which drops today on iTunes. Also of note is the new Toro y Moi album - Anything In Return - out on iTunes.
