Two days, two completely different versions of Oasis’ timeless “Wonderwall.” The first, of course, was yesterday’s Song of the Day by Inspired Flight, which featured samples from Ryan Adams, Radiohead, Bob Marley and more. The end result of that cover was completely mellow; the end result of this edit is quite the opposite.
Used at Figure’s live sets, this is the first time that he has released the track for download. You noticed I keep using the word “edit” and not remix — to quote Figure himself, that’s because “the song is amazing in its original form.” The drumstep is there “to give it legs to crush on the dance floor.” Crush indeed!
