What’s the difference between a bootleg and a remix? Well if you ask Dzeko and Torres, this track is a bootleg because Of Monsters and Men never signed off on it. Had they, it would become an official remix.
Personally, I figure you may as well call it a “bootleg remix,” but who the hell am I to make the call? I’ll leave it to the artist to title their song.
Wherever you stand, one thing is probably agreeable: fans of indie remixes and house dance music will find this track totally approachable. It’s full of fun and energy, a combo that’s hard to turn down (though I suspect that purist fans of the original track may not enjoy this).
