Steaming hot off the Razor-N-Tape presses, nu disco pimps Only Children released a EP this week. Chicago can now claim a little more than wind and delayed flights with this A/B sided treasure.
“Falling” – A-side on the release – is a funky little gold-plated number with a slowly rolling beat. Casual guitar slides in and out with some perfect vocal snippets sprinkled here and there.
Shoulder shimmying is unquestionably the right move to accompany this track. A fitting statement, as the cover art states that the enclosed music is “good for dance.” Now that’s some apt marketing.
