Sounds like: Kunek, Lost in the Trees, Dark Dark Dark
How about something mildly obscure, but amazingly beautiful? This single from Other Lives reminds me quite quickly of Devendra Banhart or Edward Sharpe, though undoubtedly with elements all its own. For one, the band's melodies are perfectly harmonious -- the rough edges readily apparent in the aforementioned similar artists nowhere to be seen. That then gets topped off by amazing orchestral chamber-folk rounding (strings, brass, keys), bringing together a wholesome song that evokes visions of a cowboy lifestyle."For 12" can be found on the band's full album Tamer Animals, released about a week ago.
