What's so good?

For the keen discerner, there is always amazing music, always new tunes that are worth digging into. Yet few and far between are the songs or albums that hit you like a slow bullet, to borrow from Sade. That’s how I felt about “Birds Tribe Return.”

Even in this age of information overload, not much is known about Pablo Ygal. He resides in L.A. and is extremely dedicated to his craft, but beyond that there is not much available. This featured song is the lone track on his Soundcloud page. There was a Myspace page that was once active with a few sketches and song ideas, but that terrain is barren now.

How do you pinpoint something so ethereal? Different people will pull different things from the music no doubt. To these ears, the music is regal and vast, personal and universal. To the experienced, there may be Vedic aspects that stand out, while others might just feel an unusual calm as a result of the tune. Whatever may be your personal experience with it, this music is special and of an unusual kind, hope you dig it!
