Are these guys actually Foals in disguise? If it weren’t for lead singer Harrison Koisser’s voice not sounding similar, I might actually believe it.
The first song that I heard by these guys was “Bloodshake,” the featured song on this post. You’ll probably agree with my earlier statement that there’s a striking resemblance to Foals. But, exploring their 4-track EP a little further you’ll run into the song “California Daze,” a musical exploration that takes the band in a completely different direction.
Which kind of begs the question: where exactly where they land? It’s not like they’ve released a lot of material to date. Says Harrison:
Up until now we’ve worked with a release rate of 1.5 songs per year. The EP is four songs so this is basically us smashing our personal best. I can’t really work out what EP Delicious is but I think that’s the best way to feel.
I suppose we haven’t worked out exactly what the EP is just yet, but it’s pretty fair to say that I quite like it.
