“Breaker Breaker” is the first single of Peter Bjorn and John’s upcoming Gimme Some. The song is short and aggressive. As if the intro, strong guitar, lo-fi sound and quick rhythm weren’t an indication, try these lyrics: “Before you break my heart… I’m gonna break your nose and sing about it.” Pretty rambunctious, no? Apparently the lyrics are about a journalist the band dislikes. Seriously dislikes.
