In case you aren’t aware, SXSW’s music portion is about to lift off full-steam. Which means that pretty much all your favorite artists are booked up with live gigs. And as a result, there’s not much good new music going around…
So, as I typically do in these situations, I’m going to fall back on one of my favorites: Phoenix’s “Long Distance Call,” released on the band’s third album in 2006, titled It’s Never Been Like That (which happens to be a common phrase in this song).
