What strikes me as most amazing about this cover is not so much that it totally works with Hot Chip’s style, but that it was recorded live on Zane Lowe’s BBC1 show back in May.
Originally released on Sign “☮” the Times in 1987, the smooth jam has been covered numerous times, most notably by TLC 1994 album CrazySexyCool. Clearly this song won’t have as much success as the latter, but for our crowd I think it might just be perfect.
